Far Field analysis has a lower and upper frequency bound. The lower bound indicates from which frequency the sound image can show results. The upper bound indicates from which frequency spatial aliasing can happen.
Sorama contributed with Listener64 to a project called PS_Crimson.
September 9th this project was rewarded with the ITEA Award of Excellence!
Is acoustics a high priority in your product design? No? Then this article is meant for you.
Launching a product is exciting. After release, products are sold. Everyone happy. But what if the consumer turns out to have different expectations in terms of noise from vibrations?
This blog is useful for users who are interested in technical details of sound imaging.
With the insights we share, you will have a better understanding of the physical layout and size of a microphone-array.
This will particularly help you in selection of hardware and understanding the results of a recording.
This blog is useful for developers and installers of separation walls, seals, doors, windows and more.
With the insights we share, you will have a better understanding of detection acoustic leaks.
This will particularly help you in the working method to get fast and accurate results.
This blog is useful for acoustic engineers and managers.
With the insights we share, you will have a better understanding of a frequency spectrum and detection of peak-frequencies in the environment.
This will particularly help you in performing effective beam-forming or far-field analysis.
It also helps explaining frequency-related issues to less experienced people.
From October 28 till November 8 we enjoyed an exciting roadshow in China with seven other Dutch innovative companies.
The business trip was organized by Tuspark Jiangsu and we visited Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, Beijing and Ningbo.
The Spectrogram is a time-frequency diagram.
The X-axis of the spectrogram displays the time from left to right. The Y-axis of the shows frequencies.
The colours in the spectrogram represent the intensities of a frequency at a certain time. An intense colour means a strong pressure of that frequency was recorded at that point in time.
GIANT has asked Sorama to support their R&D team with respect to improving the sound design of silent ebikes. After the recommendations were implemented, the sound behavior of GIANT E-bikes was drastically improved. “This has already increased our customers’ satisfaction.”
Sorama and Fluke partner to create new technology that enables maintenance crews to easily visualize compressed air leaks in industrial equipment.
