About the Job

For our hardware competence team, we are looking for a Product Development Engineer who is excited about designing concepts for new and existing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the engineering process, with a focus on the end-to-end lifecycle of product development. This includes not only the initial design but also understanding the technicalities of bringing a product to production.

Knowledge in areas such as serviceability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness is crucial. We seek someone who can navigate the challenges of product design with an eye for detail and a vision for the product’s journey from the drawing board to the hands of consumers. If you are driven by innovation and have the expertise to see a project through to its completion, join us in shaping the future of acoustic technology.

If, after reading this vacancy, you feel excited to change the world and motivated to get the best out of yourself and to join us in our office on Strijp-T in Eindhoven, we welcome you to apply. We hope to meet you soon over coffee.

What your typical day would be like

Your typical work day kicks off with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee at our Strijp-T office, a ritual that jump-starts creativity and focus. You chat a bit with your colleagues and start your day with the weekly stand-up (agile/scrum) in which you share your progress and identify if anything is blocking your work.

After that you join a meeting with stakeholders to define the design constraints for a new sound camera prototype.

You start working in Autodesk Inventor to generate two design concepts so you can demonstrate the 3D prints during the Friday afternoon Demos and Drinks.

In the afternoon you process an urgent request to create a set of technical drawings for a potential integration partner.

And by the end of the day the 3D printer is finished and your 3D designs evolved to tangible prototypes which you gladly show off to your team members.
