Experience the new Noise Camera
Coming up: Intertraffic, the leading trade exhibition for mobility professionals. At the event, we will introduce the Noise Camera for the first time. Until recently, visualizing noise pollution in traffic was one of the most difficult issues for cities. That is no longer the case. Due to a smart combination of innovations and technologies, noise pollution is visualized with the Noise Camera. The solution can detect vehicles that are too loud and exceed sound standards. That way cities can battle noise pollution and make owners aware of the exceeding amount of decibels their vehicles make.
Intertraffic is held from March 29 to April 1 in Amsterdam. You can find us and our partners at booth no. 05.105, where you can experience our acoustic monitor yourself. Besides the Noise Camera, we will also present other smart city solutions with applications within environmental monitoring and safety & security.

Noise Camera
The Noise Camera, presented at Intertraffic, is a collaboration between Axis, FF Group, Milestone and Sorama. We combined our expertise to develop an all-in-one solution for smart cities. The Noise Camera can detect and localize vehicles and measure the amount of decibels a vehicle makes. When the vehicle exceeds the standards, the video camera scans the number plate and a notification can be shared with the authorities, which can take action and react accordingly.
The Noise Camera uses the Sorama L642 Acoustic Monitor to detect and localize the vehicles.
