On behalf of Vestia Rotterdam Stadswonen and recommended by Stadsontwikkeling Gemeente Rotterdam, Sorama recently created the largest Sound Image ever, in cooperation with Cauberg-Huygen Raadgevende Ingenieurs.
To analyse transfer paths of airborne sound in an apartment building sound was measured, amongst others with the Sorama Cam, at almost thirty thousand measurement points in one day. Antwan Timmers, senior project leader at Cauberg-Huygen: “With the sound camera of Sorama the contribution of both the direct path and flanking paths were visualized. Based on those images solid actions were advised to realize acoustic and ‘building-decree-wise’ solutions.”
