Meet Eduard – studying and working at Sorama

Eduard studied Electrical Engineering and started at Sorama in February of 2019. In this blog below you will dive deeper into what it’s like interning at Sorama and why, along side the different fields and projects that can be worked and researched on to your hearts content. You will not only gain an insight into the technicalities and the complicated diagrams, but also into how problems can occur and be solved.

What made you first think of applying at Sorama?

“During my electrical engineering studies, I focused mostly on embedded and digital design, so I was looking for an internship company which offered projects in my area of interest. In addition to engineering, I am passionate about audio gear (speakers, amplifiers etc.) and cameras. I heard about Sorama and what they do from a fellow student and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to combine my passions and professional interests.”

I made a sound source that can be used in combination with the II900/ii910 to find leaks without compressed air.

How has your experience working at Sorama been?

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sorama both as an intern, as well as an employee. The people are open, knowledgeable and eager to share their expertise. It has been exciting to learn and grow here. The fast pace at which Sorama itself was growing during my time here has also been an added motivation for me to learn and improve faster.”

What are some of the highlights of working here… What have you enjoyed the most?

“In addition to my internship projects, I have found the development work I have done on Sorama’s new products extremely rewarding. But most of all, I have enjoyed the freedom Sorama gave me to define my projects and make them my own.”

If you could describe Sorama in a sentence or two, how would you do it?

“I would describe Sorama as an excitingly unique and innovative company growing at a fast pace, which creates the perfect environment for students and employees to learn and develop new products and technologies.”
