The Hannover Messe 2018
The Yearly Hannover Messe was held between the 23rd and 27th of April 2018. Sorama was now present in Hall 8 at the Holland High Tech IT & Smart Industry Pavillion. Much interest went out to the latest Smart City innovation. At the booth the Sustainder ‘Anne’ smart LED luminaire with integrated AXIS IP cameras and Sorama custom Listener sound camera was first introduced to the Hannover public. The smart LED luminaire contains a 32 channel Sorama sound camera and four AXIS ip cameras smoothly integrated into the pricewinning design by Sustainder.
All features of the Sorama Smart City Listener Platform are integrated into the Sustainder luminaire. This includes straightforward sound level measurements over time, real-time sound maps, sound classification and GPS localisation and AXIS camera control based on sound detections. Applications (amongst others) range from noise pollution monitoring, traffic accident detection, gunshot detection and pub street incident detection. Furthermore, the latest Sorama Portal software features were demonstrated with the CAM64: the most low-threshold sound camera in the market, obtainable for any engineer working on noise and vibration reduction.
