Combining the ScanA Motion Device with the CAM64 created a powerful sound measuring system for delivering extremely high accuracy.

ScanA is an automatic motion device that performs sound visualizing measurements of stationary sound sources, delivering high resolution.

When it comes to extreme accuracy in near field sound - and vibration measurements, the best way to obtain high resolution is to make a scanning measurement.

By merging the CAM64 with the ScanA Motion Device, you can perform sound measurements over an X-Y range of 1 x 1 meter.

With the ScanA Motion Device, you can combine multiple measurements, where a smaller increment leads to a higher resolution. It is particularly interesting for assemblies with small components like printed circuit boards (PCBs) where one specific surface mounted device is generating noise, power supplies and – converters and small mechatronic assemblies.
