Today it is International Noise Awareness Day. At Sorama we can’t stress enough that 1.6 million healthy life years are lost each year due to impact of noise pollution in Europe alone. 1.6 million (!). During the corona pandemic, people report noise problems in their living environment, employees are more conscious of the acoustics of their working environment and cities become more aware that noise is an important element to create a livable environment.
In our mission to make the world sound right, we are participating in Klankbord.nu. A new platform that brings together various organizations and experts in the field of noise to inform people about noise pollution. Not only experts, but also your family, neighbor and friends.
